Dissertation Work

This study also attends to the role of power (and its potential consequences for equity) in these collaborative emotion navigation processes.

Video data were collected in partnership with the Free Forest School. Thanks to the immense generosity of our participating families, we have collected a rich dataset to explore these processes across a variety of outdoor play contexts.
I am thrilled to be a UMN Doctoral Dissertation Fellow for the ‘22-’23 year which will allow me to devote full time exploration to this research agenda.
Stay tuned for findings!
